RON BIVINS
Ron Bivins: The People’s Servant was founded by members in the community who watched Ron Bivins, a native of Dallas, grow into the man, father, and pastor he is today. After graduating high school in 1981, Ron Bivins began working in his community to make a difference. He has dedicated countless hours and resources for more than four decades organizing his peers and working towards a better tomorrow.
The name “The People’s Servant” was coined by two sage members of the community who said they saw the work Minister Bivins had done in the community and remarked to him, “You are truly a people’s servant. That exemplifies you as a servant of God.” As a result, Ron established his namesake non-profit in the spring of 2016.

At Ron Bivins: “The People’s Servant,” we envision a future where every young scholar is equipped to succeed and every underserved community is empowered with the resources to thrive. We are committed to inspiring youth through academic support, leadership development, and personal growth, while also leading transformative efforts in communities like Sandbranch, Texas, where we work to secure access to fresh drinking water, modern infrastructure, and basic human needs. Our vision is a world where education, equity, and dignity are within reach for all.
